Appliance designed for 240V plugged into 220V socket

I have a much-loved vaccuum tube hi-fi system (a Kreisler) in Australia that I want to bring to Taiwan, along with my collection of vinyl. My question is would there be any problem it if I plugged it into a 220V socket here (given that it was designed for a 240V)? The frequency in Australia is 50 Hz. Just checking.

WCIF 240v to 110v AC adapter

Hi, I need a 240 to 110v AC adapter for my printer. It needs to have a capacity of at least 350Watts. I looked around many shops in the Guanghua Market and found some really HUGE bulky transformers. The other smaller better looking ones could only handle upto 100watts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i am now considering what to ship to Taipei and what not before my relocation. many of my electric machins are 220V. i figure they wont fit taipei’s 110V. would you advice me to leave al of it behind and buy/rent new stuff? what is this transformator solution? thanks

We are nearly at the end of our relocation issues but still a few problems to solve like this one. I’d rather have … poll Which would you prefer? I don’t envy having to change ALL of my electrical devices, though my printer would get a breather, since it’s on conversion to 110V.
