Its been discussed in a previous post. IIRC the reaction was fairly hostile, though a lot of the comments were on the “Not cool/won’t match my leathers/won’t make my dick look big” level that passes for technical analysis among bike buyers.
But then that’s relevant, since that could easily kill it as a product, and you maybe don’t want to buy an unpopular machine that you won’t be able to sell or get parts for, whatever its merits. Not new, anyway.
On the other hand, if that’s the way it goes, a used one is going to be cheap, and eventually maybe a rare collectors item.

I’ve now checked the old thread and the above isn’t really a fair summary of it. However, Forumosan bike buyers are maybe a bit more cerebral than most. I’d still wonder if this is “too wierd” for the mass market.
These people seem to like the 250, though.
