Neng Gao Historic Trail is an old road across the Central Mountain. In the past, the aboriginals moved to Hualian, Japanese soldiers broadened the old road for suppressing the native, civil government maintained the electricity road in order to send electricity from the west to the east. Now, Neng Gao Historic Trail has been an easy road which hikers are eager to visit.
When standing in the front of Yunhai (means sea of clouds) office, you can see the cloud fall flow as waterfall stirring up the brilliant clouds which is like the surge hit your mind. Under the clear sky along the trial, colorful backpacks, withered and yellow meadows mix as a plate of wonderland. You should visit “Guang-Pi-Ba-Biao” where is the place to take a picture. Here, the hugest monument in Central Mountain shows many history records. In the east section, there are many tall and old trees. Those trees which are older than grandfather’s grandfather win people’s respect. After old forest, there are exciting cliffs waiting for you.
