did he watch a Happy Days episode?

I’ll give the Dems credit for entertaining. That was like watching a knife fight in a seniors home, with somebody’s grandson from South Bend trying not to judge them.
Where does Amy fit into that scenario?
And I think the other candidates knew it too, they really stepped away from that and insisted they capitalists. The other candidates just wanted to tax billionaires more, i personally don’t think it actually solves any issues but whatever.
Bernie clearly believes that people like Bloomberg take money from people when ironically Bernie is the one that wants to forcibly take money from people. What’s this put the workers on the board nonsense as well.
Klaatu’s just a younger senior.
Or the frustrated home director.
I know Sanders is old, but I can’t believe he actually said that $25 trillion can be easily raised via payroll tax. He’s got some big things to walk back here.
So…I guess Biden’s run is basically over?
If Mike continues to slay him like he did tonight.
Biden is scared of that man. It was evident in his expressions.
I think he’ll limp into SC, but I think the two big winners were mini Mike and Sanders. The rest of them are all noise after tonight, I think.
Some people are saying that Bloomberg is actually a Republican plant brought in to wreak havoc on the Democrats. I guess he’s kind of like a mirror image of Trump in that regard.
Catching the first half now, Warren is doing much better than she did in the second half.
He got in because the establishment saw Biden failing and needed a firewall against Sanders. So, expect the MSM for the most part have his back.
Def a capitalist and def not going to apologize for it. I should also point out that I thought he was co-winner, but to your point that may not be true. Plenty of TDS in the Democrat party still, and Bloomberg may be attacked because of it.
If they do reject mini Mike, then I think it’s Sanders for sure. If Bloomberg is rejected then the TDS wins and the Dems go full-on socialism. Sanders said some things tonight that leave no question about where he stands…
This certainly makes sense from a uniparty perspective. But Bloomberg may have his own ideas. He’s no dummy, and he’s richer than God.
It seems like a brokered convention is more and more likely. But if Bernie gets shafted this time, the Democratic Party is in serious danger of falling apart. It’s still on the ropes from what Hillary’s people did in 2016 and I don’t think it can take another shock like that.
Yes, I agree. The DNC doesn’t like Sanders, and they’re probably going to like him a helluva lot less after tonight.
Gotta say that this is beginning more and more to seem like 1972 all over again. The Democrats didn’t fracture then because Nixon blew up the GOP, although their next time up to bat was Jimmy Carter. I don’t see that bullet (Southerner draped in evangelism) in the Dem magazine any time soon so who knows.
He is, but I don’t think he is in it to win, looks like the establishment wants to push for a contested convention, he can use his run as a way to inject massive amounts of money into anti Trump adverts. There is a reason the bookies still have better odds on Hillary Clinton than either Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar some bookies are giving similar odds on Clinton as they do on Biden.

This seems to be the narrative, but Bloomberg also seems pretty hungry for power. But maybe he’s realistic about his chances in the general election. His lack of charisma is pretty obvious to anybody who’s paying attention, but does he have that level of self-knowledge if he’s surrounded by yes men? Hard to say. He does seem like more of the puppet-master type, so maybe his run is part of a plan to take over the DNC or something.
Looks like the pundits are mostly unanimous that Bloomberg lost badly, but I disagree.
I thought he did very well given that everybody on stage was taking roundhouse punches at him. He was poised, he didn’t look flustered, he didn’t complain while under attack (unlike Sanders, Biden, Warren, Klobuchar, and Buttigieg), he spoke well, and he def has a command presence.
I thought mini Mike was easily the best in the bunch tonight. He’s the only one left who has a chance at my vote, anway.
Interesting. I’m definitely going to have to watch the reruns.
