I’ve never seen something like this in person but I am a huge MAA fan. I’d like to come in for this one from Taoyuan. How would I get there from the #1?
Also, if I decide to take the bus/mrt?
Much thanks!!

The closest MRT stop is Gonguan. It’s pretty easy to get to from there. Take a look at the MRT map and you’ll see a street called Xinsheng. Get to that street and walk north.
The NTU campus will be on your right, you’ll pass a soccer field and the sports arena is straight ahead. We’ll be in the basement.
Get off at Gongguan Rapid Transit Station on the Green Line and leave through exit # 3.
A map of the MRT system can be found here romanization.com/mrt/mrt_without_tones.pdf
Go to your right toward the intersection. You will see a Watsons on the other side of the street. Turn right and continue up the street past the KFC and the McDonald’s. The NTU Sports Center is a very large building and you should see it from far away.
On this map of National Taiwan University, ee.ntu.edu.tw/imaster/english/source/Map.pdf
the station is located on the left side of the map along Roosevelt Rd., Sec. 4. The Sports Center is located in the top left hand corner of the map at #11 labeled ‘New Sports Center’ above the MacDonald’s and the track.
It is approximately a 10 minute walk from the station to the NTU Sports Center.
Good job Casey! Looked like two quick victories there. :bravo:
Did you win? Place? Go up against any Asian dudes?
I see you like that jump on the back move. Is that something someone taught you, or your own creation?
How about you namahottie – how’d you do? Will you be back for more?
I’m just gettin started. Didn’t whop any ass but got my whopped. When I have time, I’ll put the videos up on youtube. It was the most fun I’ve had in Taiwan so far and in a loooong time…
It is true that Casey was the winningest competitor at the event. I think he won by submission more than anyone - even me. He won the toughest categories against the most experienced and best fighters. He is also a great person to train with and hang out with. He’s friendly, funny and helpful.
