52 Places to Go in 2014

List from the New York Times. Most have been to no. 11. Nice overview, well presented.

Managed 16 but been close to a few others. I actually have a house near Cartmel in the UK but not sure I would include it in this list, although the Lake District is wonderful.

To mods: Thanks for moving this from temp forum. :notworthy:

To everyone else: I saw this and wanted to cheer. It’s so rare that a short travel introduction doesn’t mention eating, going to see Taipei 101, or the National Palace Museum. Taiwan has some beautiful nature (despite the awful weather) and is a fantastic place for backpackers looking to hike and bike.

I have been to 13, still many to go…

I know the writer and photographer (a wife / husband team) who did the Taiwan section and she asked me for advice about things to list. They’re both very thorough in their research.

Why to move this to the temp. forum?

Remember people can post in the Temp forum if they like, as the OP did here!

Pretty nice presentation, mmm yu su geng
