Shouldn’t this be in the classifieds? It doesn’t sound like an animal adoption, rescue or emergency. It’s purely a sale.
This forums should be reserved for animals that need help, not humans.
I DO know someone reliable who would maybe be prepared to take the dog off your hands, but rather than paying you, she would normally require YOU to make an NT$ contribution to Animals Taiwan.
Yes. Please post sales in Taiwanted.

I am so sorry. I am not trying to make money. I am trying to find a home for a lovely animal who needs a home–not just “get a dog off my hands.” It’s heart-breaking for my family and I know it will be heart-breaking for Lady to lose her home and family. I think that’s an animal in need of help. But I will delete my post since I have caused offense.
Please don’t delete your post. This forum is for animals in need. It would be nice if you could offer the wee dog up for adoption.
She has a home and a loving family – yours.
Its YOU that is looking for help because you no longer want to keep the dog, but rather than putting it up for adoption, you’re looking for NT$5k into the bargain.
Its a case for the classified section. Also, the deal won’t be open to discussion there.
That said, I can contact my friend if you like – if she can, she’ll take the doggie in return for a NT$1,500 (I think) donation by you to Animals Taiwan.
I would be happy to offer her up for adoption to a loving home. The money doesn’t matter to us, though we have (quite happily) invested a lot in her and were just trying to recoup a tiny fraction of that. I didn’t realize that would be offensive, but I apologize.
Just a little misunderstanding. No harm done.
Your apology is accepted. In fact, I already just called the lady in question, but her voicemail tells me she won’t be back in Taiwan until late March, I’m afraid.

We DO want to keep her–but unfortunately she is making our children ill. We have had a lot of tears in our home over this issue. I have never given up an animal before–I am of the opinion that when you bring an animal into your home, it’s for life–so this is very hard for me.
I will look elsewhere for a family. We don’t want her to go to a shelter, and we we will keep her until we find a home for her. I am sorry I posted it here. I know there are animal lovers here so I thought it would be a good place to post it. I apologize again for my mistake. I am quite embarrassed by this, and if I could delete the whole thread, I would.
Sandman, thank you for contacting your friend.
I’d love to have her, but I have to ask my wife. I’m not sure if her reaction will be :discodance: or :raspberry:
I’m guessing :raspberry:
I already asked the husband and it was :raspberry: :raspberry: . And he is the dog lover of the family. I guess kids put a lid on all things.
Thanks for the replies, Okami and Divea. If either of you wins over your spouse, let me know.
Iwon him over once and since then lose all my battles
I’m sure your beautiful home would be most improved upon by the addition of a sweet little doggie, Ms Divea! ![]()
It would, we all know that. My son is not as demanding as he was. In six months we will be gone, and honestly I have always always adopted strays so its just a new thing. I know the children need a pet too…in 6 months when we are in India. Iunderstand what hubby dear is saying, it will be one more person to take care of and I don’t have help!!!
Wifey said no.

Thanks for trying. ![]()
And, Divea, lol. My husband would argue the opposite is true in our household: he won me over, and since then I have won all the arguments. ![]()
