Well, another case here of someone who wants to appeal. I had no problem getting a 3-year ARC (unlike some apparently), but my request for a 6-year driver license went nowhere. We got the name of the woman who was at the service counter, but we were unable to obtain written verification that we requested a 6-year license, but was denied. Her supervisor was not there at the time, but we got the phone number so we could contact that person tomorrow.
Only thing, is an appeal worth it. I got a 3-year license and it only cost 200 dollars. While I hate being discriminated against illegally, I have a pregnant wife and I don’t want to put undue stress on here. At the same time, I would like this rediculous administrative harassment against foreigners who call Taiwan home to end.
