60 day extendable VISA taken away at the airport

Can anyone help with this? I got my 60 day single entrance VISA from Hong Kong last month and am studying Chinese at Pioneer. I went on holiday this weekend and when I returned to Taiwan I found out that my VISA had been used already after entering from Hong Kong and I have now been reissued with a 30 visitor VISA… This I believe means I have to go to Hong Kong and start again in 30 days… very frustrated, can anyone help??? Is there another way without the expensive trip to Hong Kong again??? I now know the difference between extendable and single entrance but never realised there were 2 options until now!!

You need to go to HK l believe. Single entry means just that. Once you enter Taiwan it’s used.

Doesnt it say “single journey” in your visa?

Go to the Office

Show submission but underline that it is a special case.
Perhaps they may transform it.

Mofa can make it ext.Between 800 and 2000 nt.Better than a trip to HK

Your best bet is to extend your 30 day visa. You should be able to extend it once and sometimes twice if your lucky, as long as your visa does not have no “no extensions” stamped on it. It’s possible to get that changed to but it is not always so easy.

Who wants to go to HK with me? :bouncy:
