Effective April 1st, 2011, the Republic of China (Taiwan) visa waiver for holders of Canadian passports is extended to 90 days from its current 30 days for non-working purposes. The Canadian passport holders who wish to enter Taiwan must possess passports with at least 6 months validity, and provide necessary supporting documents if asked by customs officers.

This has been rumored for awhile, as Canada instituted the same for Taiwanese passport holders earlier this year. :bravo:
Congrats to maple leaf people. US Murkin sheeple should get the same doggone it.
Taiwan usually only reciprocates in matters like this; if a country recognizes or offers something, Taiwan tends to do the same in return after awhile. That seems to be the general rule at least.
I’d like to read at least one report from a Canuck that it is indeed the case before I buy my plane tickets…
Open letter from America to Taiwan:
Dear Taiwan,
You’re welcome for your freedom from the Chinese. :braveheart:
Sorry we’re having so much trouble getting you those new F-16s. Word has it it takes somewhere around 90 days for this sort of thing to get done.
Maybe your French or British buddies can sell you some of their planes instead. They could probably deliver them using their one (1) aircraft carrier.
Fuck you very much,

Fuck, you mean we’re going to get even more sandal-wearing, illegal (tautological, I know) kindy teachers? Far out, man.
I think if UNCA SAM will let the Taiwanesezers into the Good OL USA visa free, Taiwan will let Gringos in visa free for 90 days as well. They probably holding out for that. (or at least the F16s)
