They have them at B&Q.

Various bulbs from lightbulbs to fluoro tubes, so you need to decide what you are after. They sell the fittings too, so I’d either go for an exisiting lamp and fit a bulb or buy a fitting for the tube and wire it up. I think the tube works better anyway.

yep, they’re everywhere… Even my local NT$99 store sells them in various types and sizes… If you can’t track one down let me know and I’ll send you one…

Does anyone know how to say ‘black light’ in Chinese?

And can you get hand-held ones?

Basically, I’m really paranoid about how my place smells, as I had quite a few dogs over CNY, including a couple of unhousebroken pups, and old pee stains show up under black light.

They’re also good for spotting dandruff on shoulders, and white underwear! Now, I know Dragonbones doesn’t have dandruff …

Go for one of those mechanics inspection lights. Basically a fluoro tube encased in clear plastic with the cord etc wired in, then change the tube for a black one.

Stores that sell tropical fish sometimes have black lights so the coral, etc., will look pretty/weird.
