A couple more visa questions

I just checked through just about every post in this section, but couldn’t find an answer.

The application form is asking for the signature of the “Applicant’s Agent”. I’m just trying to figure out if that means a sponsor i.e. my university in Taiwan or a witness i.e. a friend or family member who can vouch for me?

Also, I’m applying from Australia and I’m supposed to submit a bank statement. It doesn’t say anything about how much I should have in there. I’ve just paid for my ticket etc. and I’m still waiting on my scholarship money, so it’s not much at the moment :frowning: Is this really going to affect anything? I’m hoping to get a 60 day extendable visa. I’m applying as a student. I have an official letter from my uni, so I’m hoping the bank statement won’t matter too much…

I finally got through to them and some “nice lady” assured me that I don’t need a signature from an agent. (As I’m not applying through an agency :blush: )
