A Day and Night Out!

[color=darkblue]May 1st beginning at around 3:00 p.m.

#1. Carnegies-see individual post under food and service.

#2. Jukes-2 for 1 beer, no atmosphere per se, but it is an alright place for short stints.

#3. Hooters-Husband has V.I.P. card, you tell me?! Anyway, the wings were awful. 101% pure grease! The chicken strips were yummy. Beer was good… Can’t go wrong with Corona, I guess.

#4. The Patio-This was my first time there. I do like the layout, the decor is a bit tired, but the darker it got the better it looked. The outer area for “dining” had reasonable wait staff, nothing out of the ordinary. However, we transfered into the dance area. Well, very nice, but at around 11:30 they brought out pro-dancers who, to put it simply, scared the hell out of everyone there. They were fine, but far too pushy to get the crowd up on stage with them. My husband is incredibly shy, and although I enjoyed him weasling away from the stage “tigress” I thought it was just a bit much.
Another point, if The Patio is trying to be a “class” establishment they need to do a few things.
a. Dress code for customers
b. Train the staff in flexibility-we ordered fuzzy navels because the ingredients were on the menu, but couldn’t have them. Even though my husband had been drinking custom made drinks earlier.
:noway:
c. Keep the “tiny dancers” in tow. they need to read the audience a bit better

So, that was a swinging night out…
