Well my 18 dollar sundae was not all that either
Ended up picking up two cartons of Mitchellâs Icecream at their home store in the mission district where I did the tint
15 bucks each expensive bout double dreyers
But I got what I wanted
Mexican chocolate and cantaloupe
Not always available the cantaloupe and both delis

By the way I waited for the one pm tour since I got there at noon ish but it was full and the lady said the 4pm was full too so I went home via muni since my car was not expected to be ready until 4pm earliest
If I got the 4pm booking I wouldâve gone to the ferry building and taken a boat ride across

But she said no so I took the 22 bus and transferred to the L Taraval streetcar at
Church st. Then itâs a short walk to my house in sunset. For the curious muni rides are now 3 bucks for up to several hours so you can transfer to a different line. Just tap your pass on the pass readers. Itâs almost an honor system as there are few ticket checkers. But if you are caught itâs a several hundred dollar fine I think so best pay up. But basically all public transport loses money here so our taxes and bridge tolls support them
I pay 8 dollars to cross the bridge daily to the east bay and 9 dollars to cross the golden gate. Luckily payable in one direction only
So we are all paying for public transport even if we never ride it
Muni has extensive lines all over S.F.
muni only operates in S.F.
Other cities have their buses
The great thing now is you can buy a transport pass useful on muni and other lines including bart and ferrys and you can save this pass on your cell or your watch when and load more money easily when payment is tied to your cell or watch
So I can tap my watch to ride and tap my watch to buy stuff too

Oh I was at home at 330 when she texted me that I could make the 4pm tour but I wouldâve missed it as it takes a bit longer than 30 mins to get there via muni
As expected the tint wasnât done till five so I left at 4 and at five I was already there when the car was ready
