Kind of explains why sometimes the translations get from Google are rubbish…
It’s a constant annoyance of mine that people view google translate as some kind of magic babel fish that will obsolete language learning. It’s an impressive tool, and it can be very useful when used carefully. But I’d never trust it write emails for me.
