A magnifying glass

My eyes are getting a bit log sighted so I can’t see the small characters on maps… so I reckon the solution is a cheap magnifying glass.

Where can I find one in Taipei?

Some stationery shops have them. So do some shops that sell camera equipment, knives and flashlights (oddly enough). I got mine at a shop that sold all three of the letter, in the Guanghua building (back when it still existed). I wonder where those shops moved to.

Can you post that again, in bigger letters perhaps? It’s so difficult to read without a magnifying glass …

I see them often in the night markets in the shops that sell toys, clocks, magazines and all the indigenous junk.

Hands Tailung on the 6th floor of Breeze Center has a whole bunch from jewelers magnifying classes to big Sherlock Holmes ones. Dunno if it meets your cheap requirement or not.
