A moment of silence

JM,

Good luck. I haven’t been around on the boards very much of late so this is the first I have read about any of this. I hope that everything works out ok for everyone.

I probably wouldn’t have left Taiwan, but hey, like you said, you have some things to attend to at home.

Man, you get to see home real soon, I am envious.

Perhaps I will put a face to the name when you return.

Bassman, Boss Hogg.

Jinete,

Hope to see you back soon!!! During your next sojourn, find a position here in Taipei. That way if shit happens, you can find 1000s of more positions.

Taiwan will entice you back

Add in my condolences and speedy return. That said, to steal from another thread about the benefit of your “brief” return to the states…

And homemade, at that. Can’t wait to savor grandma’s cookin’ again. :notworthy:

You can buy me a beer and sit on the porch (under the big walnut tree) of my couple acres in El Monte next time…

It’s too bad that you’re leaving. I don’t think you should be discouraged by your experiences at that school. I agree with the other posters who said that there’s something about Taiwan that seems to make it worthwhile. But I also fully understand that people sometimes have to handle family and other matters back home.

Godspeed, and I hope you come back for more adventures in Taiwan.
