Water bears - they can withstand subzero temperatures as well as boiling water
they may have come from space as they are the only organism that can possibly
survive in space
they can withstand hard times by hibernating and making themselves into a
seed with only the barest of essentials
but they are fully capable to live for the NOW
a snippet of philosophy:
live for the NOW but be prepared and able to survive hardship for another NOW
period of the good life.
