A shout out to expat Ladies in Taiwan

Hiya

The Taiwan Celts Nu’s (ladies) are advertising for new members and football players this season. You don’t need any experience, though if you’ve played any sports such as football, rugby, basketball, hockey, etc it will be an advantage.

Our ladies team meet each Saturday afternoon in Taipei for training, and there are lots of sports and social events planned for the summer. Some of the squad will be traveling to Bangkok this coming October to play for Taiwan in the 2009 Asian Gaelic Games. You are also very welcome to try out for this trip if you are interested.

We are currently running training sessions in Taipei to give everyone the chance to learn how to play the game and meet some new friends. If you are interested in getting involved you can check out the club website at anthonylonergan@yahoo.com for more details.

All nationalities, locals and expats, and levels of experience are more than welcome.

Cheers!

For all those who left messages asking, the next training get together is this Saturday 18th at 12pm at the YongHe Riverside sportsfield in Taipei.

Directions are available on the club website.

Monthly Club dinner in Taipei this coming Saturday August 1st. All new club members welcome along.

Training again this Saturday at 12 noon. As we have a number of new players joining our ladies team this weekend, we will be having an introductory training session to teach the basic skills and rules of the game.

If you’d like to come along, nearest MRT stop is the DingXi station. Get in touch with us for directions to the training grounds.
