We are going travelling to China and Vietnam in late October. We currently live in Taipei - does anyone know where we need to go to get a Vietnamese and a Chinese Visa? Can travel agents sort it out?

You have to get the Vietnamese Visa from the Vietnamese Embassy, which is near the SongJiang (sp?) Bridge. Brace yourself: it was about 120 US last time I checked.// As for the visa to China, there are many different ways to do that…probablyt the easiest thing would be to go through a travel agent, as listed in Tawian News (you will see ones that advertise this service).
