I have friends who have been very happy with the airbnb bookings they have made here.

I myself have looked into hosting here. My impression is that it is very well established here despite it not actually welcome by neighbors (that’s kinda its story in most places, right?)

Is AirBNB legal in Taiwan?

I rented an house and I did a regular contract with my landlord. The apartament has in total 3 rooms, plus on on the rooftop and we share a kitchen. I have the contract for one year. My landlord keeps on using one or two rooms for AirBNB acomodation and short term rentals. Sometimes one month thrught AirBNB, sometimes even 3 days.
