I use it for everything, from coffee to making Korean BBQ. Costco doesn’t stock it anymore. Can’t seem to find any sugar substitutes - is there a ban?
Have you considered switching? I use stevia. Splenda has shown to damage the microbiome.
Didn’t like the taste of stevia - maybe it was me but it tasted more bitter than sweet. Perhaps I should give up on low-GI and just use sugar…seems everything is a carb-heavy in Taipei?
I haven’t ever seen it in Costco here… How long ago was this?
I WISH I could find Stevia…
Carrefour has Erythritol I think, in a shiny cylinder. All carbs (sugar alcohol) but apparently no calories.
Iherb is your friend.
Unlike artificial and low-calorie sweeteners, sugar alcohols do contain calories, just fewer than plain sugar.
I am talking about what the label says.
Hard to believe, thus “apparently”
Sunny Buy 孫記洋行 has Splenda , you can also check on Ruten and Shopee
