That’s true for Indians, not Japanese or Taiwanese (and increasingly not Chinese).

But Indians earn the highest incomes in the USA, so they contribute disproportionately to the tax base and white people leech of them too.

You probably gotta lot of first hand experience with an “Asian leech” who needs whitey for benefits, huh?

Because western countries are basically “Easy Mode”

I was the one worst student in my class in Taiwan. Literally had corporal punishment every day in school.

In the US, I’m competing against Billy…Billy’s parents tell him he did good getting a B in math class. And then I’m competing against Sarah, Sarah’s parents tell her it’s ok she’s not good at science in school, maybe she’s creative or something.

In 3-4 years of moving to the US, I have left ESL class and went into advanced English courses above native English speakers.

I love the US because for many Asians, allowing ourselves to accept failure as part of the path to success has allowed us to excel. When you come from Asian countries where failure meant I got beat by my teacher, to my teacher saying no homework this weekend and to go do something I enjoy. This to me is why Asian American excel.

We still keep the discipline of pushing for success but no longer being burnt out before we even get to college.

It’s almost like people in power want to make sure they’re trapped to keep getting votes doing the same thing.

As I mentioned above, America is easy mode. It is the only country where I can think of being mediocre can eventually fall into success if you keep at it.

It’s not easy mode for everyone.

A lot of Taiwanese have real estate lined up for their kids.

If you’re descended from a slave, you inherit zero wealth.

The only question is what the best way to proceed is.

Where is easier for a black person to succeed? Or any immigrant? The numbers seem to indicate the US and why they keep going. Even African immigrants kill it in the US compared to native born Americans.

If you’ve been hampered by 400 years of slavery it doesn’t matter where you are.

We are not debating the lasting damages of slavery. I can agree to that.

What I’m asking you, where is it easier for black people than the US? I can’t really think of a place that improves their chances of success.

Let me put it this way. Playing a hard ass game on easy mode doesn’t make it easy. But I would rather play the game of life on easy mode than hard mode. I played in hard code in Taiwan’s school system and did not do well.

The struggles of Asian Americans were and still are real, both in no way comparable to the struggles African Americans had and are still enduring.

They can still learn things from Asians though.

I guess the word, African American, is now free to describe those who are actually from Africa, like Charlize Theron.
