Aftershave

For the past 2 years, I’ve had to make a point of buying aftershave every time I go abroad. Has anyone seen it in Taiwan?

I believe it’s called “gua1 hou4 shui3”.

I don’t want this to turn into a lecture on how the Follically Challenged Chinese males don’t need this stuff. I’m just wondering if there’s anyplace in Taipei that caters to foreigners with facial hair and sensitive skin.

Pretty much any department store. Try Sogo, Mitsukoshi, any of the shopping malls, etc. Prepare to pay through the nose.

I even saw Yves Saint Laurent “Jazz” at RT Mart recently … TW times are a-changing!!

Try “toilet water”. The French use it all the time.
