Do most of the colleges that teach English prefer younger teachers?
Are you talking about universities?
If so, I only know older people teaching English at unis here in Taiwan.
Typically, at least 35 and up, although most of the ones I know are in their 50s, to be honest.
You also need a Masters degree to teach in uni, preferrably in TESOL/applied linguistics.
