Air Conditioner Trouble

Hi all,

I have just tested the air conditioner in my bedroom for the first and found that while it runs, the air is not cooled. Does anyone have any expertise on this subject and knowledge of someone I might contact to fix it?

I know one option is that the refridgerant charge may be low. Where would I find someone to recharge it and how much would that cost?

Its usually the refrigerant chemical and price to recharge varies depending how big your AC is. Ours is a 20000BTU and it costs about 2500 to recharge. You can find the shops on streets who repair AC’s and they will usually do this work for you.
