grappa is closest to cognac and schnapps, armagnac and kirsch are non grape based.
limoncello the real one is a little sweet, but very lemon-y and a bit tart. The real one is quite expensive now as it takes A LOT of lemons (and good ones) to make, so the industrial ones are just made with lemon essence and a whole lot of sugar. not too great.
