I wonder, in cases like the online examples noted above, how to determine whether they are bots, trolls, or other actors who looooove to jump in at times like this to sow social division.

99.99999% sure he ran over her foot, you can see the wheel jump. The security cam footage all seems to have edited out the cops cack handedness and pretty much negligent discharge of weapons.
You’d think some people would run a risk / benefit analysis of running a pirate airport transport business to see if it’s worth it. Clearly not this guy!

Probably been getting away with it for years and making handsome profits, not a cheap vehicle he’s driving. Also seems to have something about “Airport” stuck on his doors so it seems he wasn’t even being discrete about it!

Yes I think “brazen” would be closer to the mark than “discrete” for this guy.

Seems ok to me, lots of Hong kongers like KMT it seems, the ones I know here as they think DPP is for local Taiwanese.

Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 3 begins operations
Some limited use of Terminal 3 starting this month, anyone scheduled to go through it?
Think I’ll try to avoid it until check-in is available in the terminal and not another terminal 20 minutes away.
“Due to ongoing construction, check-in and security procedures must still be completed at Terminal 2. After passing through immigration, travelers can reach Terminal 3 via walkway or shuttle in less than 20 minutes. Passengers disembarking at Terminal 3 will also need to collect their luggage from Terminal 2 for the time being.”
I would check it out even without my flight departing from there.

Am I correct in understanding that this will function as a LCC (low cost carrier) terminal, much like Narita Airport Terminal 3? Or does TPE have other plans?

Not according to this ICRT article.
"Terminal 3 is set to serve three Taiwan airlines, China Airlines, E-V-A Air and STARLUX.
But the North and South Concourses will be used flexibly, with all airlines including foreign carriers allowed to park there, depending on operational needs."
I am guessing that they will use the old Terminal 1 as the central hub for the budget airlines.
