AIT selling off property in Taiwan

Vistas at less-elevated altitudes are available from a stone ex-diplomatic home in Taipei, Taiwan, a steal at $2 million (euro1.5 million) that is surrounded by ``undeveloped mountain and forest settings’’ from Taiwan’s adjacent Yang Ming Mountain National Park. [/quote]
We should ask the US to return all their stolen property from ROC. The money from this sale should be returned to the people of Taiwan.

And hopefully “we” will do the same when the US leaves Iraq.

What do you care about the people of Taiwan?

Secondly, did the US government legally buy this piece of property or did they kick out the former owners and moved in?

The US sellers admit to title issues where appropriate, and since they don’t do it here, we must assume that - unlike the KMT properties here - the building was legally bought.

Great then afterwards the Taiwanese aboriginal tribes can get back what the Han people stole from them. It’ll be a great party!

And then maybe the adherents of the “4000 years of continuous rule” idea can have the CCP pay for all the crimes done by prior governments of China since the dawn of history, including returning all lands ever… oh wait.

and then whatever homosapien species who took the land can return it to the cro magnons that had it before. and the cro magnons can return it to the neanderthals, who in turn can return it to the homoerectus, etc all the way down to the flatworms from which all life evolved. eventually this will go all the way back to the big bang, then to the original title owner, which is the Lord God Himself.

i hate nationalism.

maybe they got it as payment from the millions they sent to the island, or have you forgot about that small detail?
