Just slap those prints down on a blank piece of paper and send 'em off to the FBI.
Everyone knows those guys aren’t picky.
I don’t often post over here but this one caught my eye. And I got some help in the past in this particular forum.
Anyhow, you don’t need FBI clearance of any kind for your criminal records check. A clean record from your state (or commonwealth) govt should do the trick. It did for me at least. Just remember to get it authorized by a TECO back home.
For the marriage visa take the simplest route possible I say. If you get the FBI involved you’re just asking for trouble.
I got my form at the Canadian trade office. They know the one I wanted in Chinese even though I don’t speech it and they don’t speech English.
Went to a small office to get the prints done. CSI office. They were nice. There are two so find the one near you. You send it in to the cops in your home town. Then wait for a year.
I went to Canada and had it done over night with no prints. Then I had to get it approved by the Taiwan trade office in Canada. Also over night with few probs.
