There’s a new website for the Alishan area which is worth checking out.

It was written by Robert Storey (of Lonely Planet fame) and the information is good; no bullshit, nice touches of dry humour, and facts checked out on the ground. It’s great to read a site that isn’t written in flowery Chinglish.

Any hotel recommendations for the Alishan area? I am kind of picky and don’t mind spending more and I don’t mind if I have to drive up to 35 minutes to get to the mountain from the hotel.
