All About Avocados

I enjoy them with Olive oil, a little vinegar, salt/pepper, Mustard, mixed into a "French dressing " . Threw the last one away after waiting so long for it to ripen :pensive:

I bet that’s good. I mixed some guac with onion, cilantro, hatch chilies, lime, salt & pepper. But Sriracha would be efficient…

In my case because it adds an olive oil flavor.

First they came for the avocados, and I didn’t say anything because i wasn’t an avocado…

However, I did find a recipe from our Martha Stewart about drizzling olive oil over avocado slices, so I guess there’s that.

I like both avocado and olive oil, but I can’t imagine tasting the avocado if I combined them. I imagine tasting only the olive oil. Still, I do see that it’s done - and I haven’t tried it so who knows. Whatever floats your boat; it’s your dime after all.

Try it, you only live once and you might like it. Think of it as the ladyboy of food.

Would you rather dip your tortilla chips in olive oil or guacamole? Case closed.

You make a good point. I definitely sense the presence of a middleman in the olive-oil-on-my-avocado situation.

Outside of desserts there’s little I don’t add a drizzle of good quality olive oil to.
