AMAZING "new" alternative fuel....this blew my mind

This should maybe be in Vroom Vroom or Technologies…but I don’t think there is a single person on here that won’t find this interesting…and since this belongs in a few different places…I thought Open would be a good middle ground.

A real healthy choice as an alternative fuel is finally here: wimp.com/fuelwater/

With the prices of fuel these days, this guy is going to be a gazillion-aire if he’s able to sell his idea. Or he’ll disappear once the oil companies get a hold of him.

Wow,
That truly is amazing. A new energy…woo hoo!

4 ounces to go 100 miles

saw on news other day a local inventor using a similar technology for a kitchen range. water and electricity fueled.

Nothing new. A sucker born every minute.

This technology will be purchased (I think they already bought it)by oil companies who will take twenty years at least before they actually put it to use, if they find a way to make money with it.

Can you imagine the disaster for oil companies if you could fill up your car with a garden hose. Milions of people would also lose their jobs which is another considerations when cutting the grass under the oil companies feet.

And yes, this is not new. It’s been around for quite some years now.

I think Shell bought a motor which could somehow convert water into energy some 20 years ago, and as technology progresses more and more similar devices are coming out which means oil companies have to dig further and further into their pockets.

I was reading an aviation magazine only yesterday had an article and flight test of an aeroplane fitted with an engine which could produce energy when it wasn’t producing power and therefore re-charge itself- the figures were remarkable.

BTW, Moredeth, everytime I click on that link, my computer dissappears. I havn’t seen the article.

:roflmao:

The problem is that splitting water into Hydrogen and Oxygen takes more energy than you get back when you recombine (burn) it. Its a losing proposition. Sounds good though doesn’t it

They weren’t doing that.

I don’t know WHAT they were doing. But he drove a car 100 miles on 4 ounces of water. And he used it to fuel a blow torch which could burn a hole through solid rock in a couple of seconds. But the flame was still cool enough to touch with your hand.

Link still works fine for me Dangermouse…it’s a video.

Here is the direct download link (right click choose save as): y.wimp.com/file/bdbbb07e9bebe8d1 … lwater.wmv

WTF? Right, that settles it. I’m not scientifically minded. I can’t grasp this concept at all!

He’s not touching the flame…He’s touching the end of the torch. I assume that if the flame can melt a rock, it would do the same to your fingers. Still quite strange that the torch doesn’t heat up.

He’s playing with fire. He’s using dihydrogen monoxide. Not something you want to fool with.

His name is Dennis Klein. and he has his own website.

And then there is a sceptics page.

A bit of googling brought me a couple more interesting things.

I went straight to Richardm’s sceptics link (Wonder why I did that?) but couldn’t get any further than Brown’s imploding gas without dissolving in laughter.
I wasn’t any good at stinks in school.
