Really, back to Aaron Sorkin again? FFS! A lot of my ‘political’ friends have been posting snippets from The Newsroom on Facebook as well, and let me tell you something, as someone who leans left, I find the blatant and free flowing Liberal diarrhea of that show too much to bear (or is it bare? Not even spell check can save me here, salty ESL teacher entering the thread with some snark in 3…2…1…).
Sorkin is a glory whore, first he had us believe that that ho from Wisteria Lane could do the sports, then that the sketches Matthew Perry was writing were funny, and now we are to believe that Dumb (or is it Dumber? Salty movie nerd entering thread with some snark in 3…2…1…) can do the news ‘the right way’ when in reality their entire broadcast is commenting on how other networks do the news. It is the epitome of everything I hate about the left.
I will grant that it is a watchable show, but nothing we should draw inspiration from or start threads with.
C’mon people, lets talk about real things when discussing politics, its like we’ve all become Paul Ryan.
