Angelina Jolie and "positive press" from Time inc

This reminds me of Henry Luce and Chiang Kai-Shek’s chummy relationship back in the day. No surprise here, just another day in the journalism industry.

I wouldn 't be so quick to judge the journalism industry for doing something it’s done for years. Go back to the days of yore when Rock Hudson and etc. was around. The movie studios were doing this for years. But I see this as something more indicative of Angelina’s personality, someone who is very controlling and probably not pleasant to be around. To survive this game called Hollywood, you need to pimp the press to a certain extent, Oprah does it very well as she has said several times she is a “brand.” Yet, with Angelina, no matter how hard she tries to pimp that international, I give a damn about all the starving kids, she’ll also always be a husband stealer.

She’s like Elizabeth Taylor but without the great jewelry.
