Another Socialist Paradise (Pipedream) Circling the Toilet

Because Obama.

Nope.

We’re almost a year into the new administration. I’m afraid this one’s on Trump.

Once again, I invoke Rowland’s Law (one year rule). Jan 20 is coming soon! :rainbow:

But until then, everything is because Obama. :smiling_imp:

Wow, didn’t realize you were such an ideologue.

Hickam`s dictum, Doctor

Well I didn’t have a problem with Obama’s admin but I think trump has right to enact his priorities and after all his nasty remarks are only what the democrats have done to every republican admin since reagan

Donald Trump has a talent for chaos that may end up making him the best U.S. president in modern times. Nothing’s getting done. The Party of No is locked in a death grip with The Party of No Way thanks to Trump. For the first time in a long time there’s little chance of the U.S. bankrupting itself economically and morally serving up socialist paradises at home or indulging its military industrial messiah complex abroad. It’s the best of both worlds. We’ll see how long this gridlock of the vanities lasts though.

Which one’s which, in your cosmology?

:astonished:

And Rollo and Jothy still speak with you? :noway:

It depends on your party affiliation as the terms are largely interchangeable, like a glass half full or half empty. In other words one man’s “resistance” is another man’s “gridlock.”

Health care is an issue and has long been one. Obama tried his best to fix it while enduring squeals from hypocritical republicans who first proposed mandatory coverage. Now we see trump trying to solve long term structural issues and now it is the hypocritical dems who are swooning with dismay. The only eternal is that the Middle East is a fucked mess and no this is not due to the Jews! As politburo likes to hypothesize but we are less affected because of energy independence due to fracking which all the environazis including Obama’s were against despite being the cause of the conditions for their lofty self praise.

That’s a slur. My actual view is that the closest thing America has to a national conscience is its Jewish population which opposed the last deployment of America’s military-industrial messiah complex by a wide margin:

“Jewish Americans are the most strongly opposed to the Iraq war” of all religious groups. Is this a surprise? Not really, but it is now semi-official, after a Gallup analysis of 13 surveys from the last two-plus years concluded that Jewish people oppose the Iraq war by a “better than 3-to-1 margin, 77 percent to 21 percent.”

Oh all right… I will try to be nice today :upside_down_face:

That’s almost worth a like! :grinning: :rainbow: :unicorn:

So desperately trying not to tell you what you can do and where with that unicorn horn so desperately trying to focus on sunshine which is not where I would suggest you stick said horn no no no must not be mean today

Someone needs to give Fred a pat on the back for the massive effort he’s making to play nice. While it can’t exactly be considered an unmitigated success, it’s still quite impressive, and fully deserves an “E” for effort and a participation prize.

Keep up the good work!

Fight the good fight, Smith! :rainbow: :grinning: :+1:

(Btw it’s :nsfw: if you watch for too long, but you probably shouldn’t be watching entire films at work anyway!)

Barack Obama took top place last year for being anti-Semitic for his less than enthusiastic support of long-standing U.S. policy in the Middle East so I probably shouldn’t take Fred’s insinuations of anti-Semitism so personally.

I like to think that countries like Sweden and maybe France are examples of successful socialism.
