Why, oh why @ppp, do you spam links with no comments? Some discussion of some sort? like what do you think about this link that makes it worth posting?

Or:

What are you taking? Why? You’ve mentioned taking test - are you doing trt (doctored administered or self prescribing?) or running a cycle? Taking any of the underground peptides you’ve linked to videos talking about?

The oral versions are not underground the injectibles are. However most of the oral versions just get broken down in the stomach like Bp157. Most people come away very disappointed. There are also no long term human studies it’s all anecdotal. Creatine on the other hand is proven to work and I have taken it but was unresponsive. I now take Citrulline and wow for me it’s great. I had bad circulation in my extremities and it completely disappeared after three weeks and relieved within a few days.

I think we can combine personal experiences with the science too. I take and experiment with a lot of supplements and my blood work is good. I now also use peptide skin creams. They are making a small but noticeable difference.

Why do you want to avoid getting into ketosis?

Nausea, the shakes, no endurance. I’m happy with my weekly 36-44hr fast, but the moment I get into ketosis I’m out of commission for at least three days. And coming out the other side of keto-flu isn’t much better. It’s not a good fit for me.

What does it do for your body fat percentage and visceral fat ? You personally not a study.

Might be restoring the lining. Preventing leaky gut.

Im talking about it’s bio availability in oral form not it’s therapeutic benefits as is clear in my post if you quote the entire post. The stomach acid renders it pretty much useless. That’s why most use injectable.

Many years ago, I peed on the strips for a full year to show I was in ketosis. I lost about 12% of my weight. After stopping I gained it all back in less than a month. Proof enough it was never fat that was lost in the first place. During this entire time, jogging was out of the question.
Ask me what a weekly fast does for me. I’m way more excited about the potential of staving off cancer and the huge energy boost. I’ve done it five times in five weeks. So far so good.
Except it ruins my sleep during the main night of the fast. If anyone has a pointer on how to sleep with zero blood sugar, I’d appreciate the tip.

That’s interesting because I feel nothing. I only fast for 17 hours and when I eat again, I’m eating a lot of carbs. I’m most likely not going into ketosis with these 17-hour fasts.

But I sometimes fast for 18 hours, do an intense swim, and then eat at around 19 hours. That should get me into ketosis, I would think. I also fasted for right under 24 hours before. In both instances, I feel/felt nothing.

I’m curious more than anything. I’m okay with my current weight. The 17-hour daily fast seems to keep the pounds off. I also like to think that it’s very healthy to fast daily, and feel (together with longer fasts and exercising fasted) that maybe I’m fat-adapted because I do feel nothing.

I’m still learning and any of the above could be wrong.

Thanks. I’m pretty lean and muscular but can still pinch fat on my upper abdomen. My goal is to get at visceral fat. I feel I have more visceral fat than is healthy. Do you suggest this for attacking visceral fat. And how long a fast ?

There is much more to be gained than weight management. Longevity is inversely correlated with calorie intake. Autophagy is shown to target cancer cells. I’m in total agreement with the sample schedule the AI recommend. 4 days of 18:6, 36hr fast, 2 days of endulgence, plus resistance training/calisthenics and endurance training.
All this with HRT including low-dose testosterone, and I’m feeling like a thirty year old.
I do wonder if I will tire of this routine. Maybe someday I will abandon hope and succumb to being a floating swamp witch. In the meantime, I’m enjoying being strong.

I wouldn’t know! Without a clinical evaluation, I have no idea. I suspect yes. When burning calories, what is the order of operations? When is visceral fat preferential to muscle? When i was in school, I feel like they didn’t know any of this.
