Hi everyone, I was wontdering if there was any good football (soccer) shop in Taiwan, and Kaohsiung? I am living in Japan now, and will move to Taiwan in two months, I will continue football there, but I was wondering if I had to buy some stuff before coming.
What exactly do you need to play football? A pair of boots and a box of tissues? Both easily available.
No, what I mean is that here in Japan, we have a few very good football shops, and its pretty easy to find about everything you would need for football. I buy and collect football shirts. Back in my country, we dont have good shops, its usually too expansive. Taiwan wont be that expansive, but football is not popular there, not as much as in Japan. For example, I asked my gf to buy me the football shirt of the Taiwanese national team when she was back home for holidays, and she couldnt find it.
There is no shop, no national team, not even a soccer stadium. Join me in mourning.
Yeah there is one, but they are not good at all ![]()

I’d be interested in buying a Taiwan national footie top. Doubt I’d find a knock off one in Shi Lin night market as there isnt’ the demand sadly.
I’d love to buy it too, so if anybody where I can find it, please let me know!
Here’s Chinese Taipei’s football teams website. If you can read chinese, maybe you can find a link or something. Best of luck.

Alternatively, go to their next asian qualifier game against Turkmenistan and steal one off one of the players at the end of the game.
When is their next game? It will be in Kaohsiung at the world game stadium? Do you have their schedule?
you can use Yahoo auction website (tw.bid.yahoo.com/) to find some stores, but its all in chinese, and I think mostly are in Kaoshiung area (south).
Good luck mate.

You can buy Asics football boots, shin pads etc. there, although I think Jans Sports, which is around here http://maps.google.com/maps?q=25.089382,121.523014&num=1&t=h&sll=25.091075,121.559834&sspn=0.161734,0.256119&ie=UTF8&ll=25.089352,121.523025&spn=0.000749,0.00142&z=20&layer=c&cbll=25.089352,121.523025&panoid=BGMaE-9hrLIAyedR7cwSVg&cbp=12,26.8,0,19.09 is better, as they stock Nike, Adidas etc.
They must have been selling them at the match tonight. Loads of people coming out of the stadium had them.
