Any suggestions for a novel for a high-school student?

that’s ok, i think he sorted it

She chose The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. We’ll start it in a couple of weeks.

Uh oh, now I’m a bit nervous … hope it works out!

They Call Me Baba Booey - Wikipedia—a good read

A Little Life.

Just kidding, do not recommend this book to a teenager.

When I was in high school I knew very little English. I remember being assigned Number the Stars by Lois Lowry, which is very short and well-written. It’s also a good history lesson about the rescue of Danish Jews. The classics mentioned in this thread (1984? Seriously?) are way too hard.
