Anyone have any friends in Kinshasa?

It’s in the Democratic Republic of Congo (not to be confused with Congo-Brazzaville)

The pay isn’t very good, but the work is usually very rewarding in other ways.

Depending on what you focus on, there can be a lot of trips abroad, especially to interesting places like Central Africa

Loingchen will be a missionary, and will most likely steer very clear of any carnal entertainment.

Anybody else going there would be wise to do the same, after all the HIV infection rate is not neglible there - 5 years ago, 4% of the adult population were HIV positive.

Being a missionary there is also great fun, you get to meet some rather interesting people, and try a few new things, like an African jail:
