I am seeing a lot of Wellcome close down. Are they Closing down?
They are restructuring and don’t re-new leases that expire on stores that don’t make a minimum turn over per square foot.
I haven’t noticed any of the usual ones I see week to week having closed down in Taipei. Where in particular are you talking about?

Actually, now that I think about it a bit further, there is an already smallish Wellcome on Ba-De Rd. sec 3 not far from Gwang-Fu N. Rd. that recently halved its store size. Kind of seemed strange to me at the time, about six months ago, but maybe this is part of that restructuring bit. It might be one of the ones on its way out?
