Anyone seen "Enternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" yet?

I think about going to this movie, my only concern is, that some of Jim Careys movies are great, others just weird. As I want to take a girl to this movie who I like but do not know that much yet, I am a little afraid this could be one of the weird ones…

Anyone seen it?

It’s not really a Jim Carrey movie, this one.

It’s more of a Kate Winslet.
And a Charlie Kaufman script.

Very good. Worth seeing as it’s unique and refreshing.

Saw it last night.

Jim Carrey was not really Jim Carrey in this movie. I liked his character, just not the typical in your face, over the top, look at me, I am Jim Carrey role.

This could be a decent date movie. Enjoyed the flick. I don’t know what you mean by weird. This movie was kind of artistic and original and not a Hollywood Blockbuster. In that way, some people may think of it as weird. I didn’t though. As far as being Jim Carrey weird (whatever that would be), it was not.

Yeah he was definitely no Ace Venutura in this one, more in Truman Show serious-mode. Its mad, it has the same freakiness of Being John Malkovich (“I’m making a birdhouse!”) but it has more of an accessible plot with a nice ending. Here’s a question… Do you think if you had the memory of your ex erased, if you met him or her would you feel attracted to each other again, and if so what would happen?
