Apparently, Presidents shouldn't exercise

From the Taipei Timea:
Ma should avoid all ‘risky’ activities: Wang Yang-chun

I came across this in the Taipei Times today. In short, somebody is criticizing Ma Ying-Jeou for participating in a relay with elementary school kids. The article also says he should not be swimming in winter. Apparently this is “risky” behavior and the President shouldn’t be exercising out of national interests. Now, I am all for protecting the president, but this seems like garbage. I am also all for the DPP, but for anyone to publish this on the front page of their website as “journalism” is beyond ridiculous to me.

I’ve never been a fan of the KMT, but there’s plenty of partisanship to criticize both sides for, and this is a good, ridiculous example.

Apparently he’s an ‘asset’ to Taiwan … :ponder:

Fixed it for you.

Yeah, I read this and just had to laugh… national asset? Yeah, right… but he shouldn’t swim in winter or run with the kids? I am GLAD he did these things… one thing I am completely with the President on is promotion of physical fitness, especially among our youth…

and the complaint that is underwear shows is just asinine. I guess he shouldn’t be seen in public in a swimming pool either because one is much more exposed in a speedo than having your underwear show when stretching…

this does in the silly department… who is thus guy who criticized him, anyway???
