Applying for English teaching positions – Chinese documents required?

Hi,

I am currently doing the rounds looking for a new teaching position. I am in 2 minds about whether I should include a Chinese resume and autobiography in my application package. I spoke to my wife’s Taiwanese dad about the issue and he said that if he was a Taiwanese boss looking for a teacher he would find the Chinese documents useful. However I have read on here before from others that they feel it is not necessary.

My Chinese ability is very low intermediate. In May I passed the level 3 TOCFL. However with a little bit of help from my wife I could put the required documents together myself.

Any advice?

Thanks

I am wondering the same thing. Is it good to have your resume and CV in Chinese or better for it to be in English? Thanks.
