Has anyone applied to the American Institute for a US visa as a non-Taiwanese citizen? Was this easy or difficult - any tips?

You probably already read this? If you are a resident of Taiwan, just apply the same way Taiwanese do?
No biggie. Just pay, make the appointment on the 'net, stand in line at the appointed time, DO remember to take the picture in teh exact size they specify, and voila, you’ll have it in no time.
They were specially helpful with me when I, ehem, misplaced my passport just a week before going home -which involves transit in the US of A. Big hand :bravo:
