I don’t know what is special from the country you come from, but I try to listen during the year about what my collegues are interested in from my area of the world, and get them at taste.

Anything that doens’t have a ‘Made in China’ sticker on the bottom. I’ve found that people care more about where stuff has been manufactured as opposed to the gift itself.
