I just got an APRC and work permit, but my wife and kids are
still on dependent status without work rights. Should something happen to me, God forbid, they would loose their right to stay in Taiwan. Is that right? Is there any legislative initiative in progress that would propose that permanent residence and work rights will also be extended to spouses and children over 18?
