You only need to bring the latest one - the one that permits you to work at your current job.

I’m getting ready to apply after being on a marriage based ARC for over 20 years. They said they have to ask Taipei if I need an FBI level check or if my original State criminal check from 20 years ago will cover it.
I left Taiwan one time in 20+ years and for about 5 days.
Anyone have info or experience?
IN THEORY, if a home country police certificate was provided at least once during any previous ARC applications and the applicant never been outside of TW for more than 3 months at a time, you should NOT need a new home country police certificate. Even more so if the ARC was for JFRV.
In general I know for US citizen the FBI one is good, never heard anyone using their own state certificate. But again, this is all theoretical as different NIA officers will have their own opinion…
Back when I got mine it could be from the State. A few people were beginning to get FBI ones.
I guess it’ll just be luck of the draw for me and some officers opinion if I need to now follow the new FBI document rule even though I clearly haven’t been there since I received my ARC. Immigration can see only 1 exit in 20+ years and my passport documents that as a 5 day stay in Okinawa.
Perhaps for some reason they don’t trust each States CCR though. I’ll find out soon enough.
