Yes I think that is probably right but not sure that FSC does in practice.

There is a list of senior foreign professionals here from December 2023. There are seven naturalized ones that note 金融 as their area of expertise but no Plum Blossom Card holders.

Not directly, but it is implied that FSC can issue opinions or recommendation letter for senior foreign professional status as it is clearly marked on the HHRO of the MOI in the procedure for naturalisation for high-level foreign professionals (which are the same as senior professionals). It is even provided the window to contact for the process.

It’s not clear cur as for the gold card, but it is still possible, albeit I haven’t heard of any such status approved under the finance sector, which is an area requiring so much work here.

Two times recently travel related places in Taiwan thought APRC expired.

It says permanent in both Chinese and English. There is no expiration date on card.

Anyway verbally told them read it and then they said ok.

First time, at an airline counter checking in for flight.

Second time, buying plane tickets at a travel agency.

Maybe an old style card.
