ARC connected to work contract?

Hi,

My ARC expires in July of 2007, but I will be terminating my work contract at the end of this month. So does that mean I need to leave the country before the end of this month, or I can stay until July of 2007, or I get a "grace period’ after termination of my contract after which i must leave the country?

Your ARC expires 7 days after if is cancelled, by which time you have to have left.

Good. Check with your boss when they are going to cancel it. They might agree to cancel it a bit later (although they’re not supposed to) if they like you.
